Purpose of the job:The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that the products meet the required quality standards, as well developing processes and implementing standards to ensure that products and processes comply with safety regulations and meet the customers expectationsExperiential and educational requirementsRelevant Bachelor’s Degree3 to 5 years relevant experienceExperiences related to the automotive advantageousManufacturing experience essentialMust be fluent in the Quality systems such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA’s, SPC and QS/TS requirements.Essential duties and responsibilitiesUnderstand customer’s requirement on their Events and/or Milestones, cascade those requirements to internal and external suppliers to prepare their quality system or report to meet the requirements.Develop sampling procedures, forms, and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.Lead Activity in the development and implementation of methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material, and devises methods to assess cost and responsibility.Lead Activity to analyze and to solve customer issue and develop corrective action at manufacturer.Should be pro-actively involved in identifying and leading the improvement process and promote its use within the manufacturer.Actively identify and promote continuous improvement and 5S activities.Development of quality systems and controls for internal manufacturing processes IATF .Develops and improves supplier processes.Acts as a customer representative and customer support contact.Manage and maintain certification of ISO: Environmental Management system.Analyzes any customer complaints and develop report within given lead time.Root Cause analysis for Customer QPR’s as well as internal QPR’sTraining of Team members on continuously following SOP and Quality manuals.Work with production to consolidate monthly report to Head officeSubmit Monthly SDS to the customer and ensure suppliers submit SDS timeously monthly.Support Production department in meeting 16 Production requirements
