Job Number 68567 Job Type Permanent Job Title Quality Control Inspector Computer Skills ISO 9001,Ms Office,ISO 3834 Industry Mining City Ekurhuleni (East Rand) Province Gauteng Job Description Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe purpose of this position is to : Implement and maintain a system for the compilation and collation of a comprehensive record of construction quality documentation and certification of all construction work, to assist in the satisfactory handover of the completed project to the ClientEnsure that the Contractors Quality Control (QC) records reflect the items in the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) with strict adherence to identified interventionsEnsure progressive and systematic acceptance and retention of Inspection records to enable turnover of original records to the Client on handover of major parts and or assemblies of the projectEnsure adequate inspection procedures to undertake and check all elements of the operational process. Key Responsibilities: Execute and maintain an effective QC system, Inspecting, Documenting and Reporting during manufacturing and installation phasesEstablish and maintain project quality requirements, including liaising via the correct system channels, with sub-contractors and the ClientReview of sub-contractor procedures and documentationDrafting of ITP’s, procedural and other documents to ensure conformity to specific intervention pointsAuditing of quality performance in accordance of ISO 9001 and project deliverablesReporting non-conformant quality performance to the required structures.
