Job Number 68590 Job Type Permanent Job Title HR Generalist/Payroll Computer Skills MS Office,Sage People 300 Industry Retail – Wholesale City Johannesburg South Province Gauteng Job Description Position Summary:Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the HR Manager will partner with the business so as to contribute to the accomplishment of the Company’s objectives through providing Line Managers and employees with HR Guidance whilst maintaining accountability for the effective delivery of HR Services.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Implement company & Group HR Management strategies and projects Manage Recruitment and Selection processes in the business Implement performance reviews, performance coaching and counselingIdentifying training needs and suitable learning interventions and providers Responsible for full payroll function: salary increases, terminations etc as well as day to day remuneration issues in the business. Finalising the monthly salary sheets for the outsourced Warehouse staff (NBCRFLI) and deal with all payroll matters in the company annual Audit as well as all EMP201 and EMP501 submissions. Manage and facilitate employee relations issues in the business, ensuring correct execution of disciplinary, grievance and consultation procedures and sound advice to Line Management and employees in compliance with relevant legislationEnsure that the business is complying with the requirements of the Employment Equity Act and Skills Development Act, including timeous and accurate submissions of annual reports Assist with execution of Group Transformation goals as well as monthly tracking admin. Implement and assist with onboarding in the business, including induction and orientation programmesProvide accurate and timeous HR Management information and reports as required Ensure an effective HR Management Support Service is delivered that meets the requirements of the business by constantly reviewing processes and practices, and obtaining feedback from the business
