Job Number 68419 Job Type Permanent Job Title Branch Stores Manager Computer Skills MS Office Industry Security – Safety City Cape Town Province Western Cape Job Description REPORTS TO: BRANCH MANAGERMAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE: Together with the Branch Manager, to coordinate all stock related activities within the store of that specific branch, taking responsibility for all stock related issues.MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: You are responsible for the store and need to ensure that the store is fully operational and the below is actioned respectively; Ensure that all receiving and dispatching of stock for the branch is accurately and efficiently done.Ensure all stock is picked, packed and distributed correctly and timeously.Generate all necessary stock reports, including weekly stock checks and new stock orders.Complete all paperwork for stock, ensuring all stamps and signatures are correspond.Responsible in conjunction with the Branch Manager for all stock takes and administration.Responsible for any stock variances in the branch and identifying the reasons thereof.Responsible for resolving any stock related issues and minimising any recurrences.Carry out spot checks on a regular basis ensuring stock quantities are accurate at all times.Ensure all high value items in the branch are verified and accounted for at all times.Ensure the efficient delivery of stock and document collections, ensuring drivers log book and delivery note book is signed properly.Ensure that your Stores Assistant/s are properly trained and that they execute their duties as per Branch requirements. FURTHER ACCOUNTABILITIES: Maintain the company’s desired level of confidentiality in respect of all aspects of your job.Ensure utmost integrity and honesty in all interactions with your colleagues, management and the company’s customers and suppliers. Due to the nature of our business your position in the company may be redefined from time to time, as may be your responsibilities. You may be required by management to assist in other areas of the business from time to time and in cases of emergency/urgency.
