Job Number 68524 Job Type Permanent Job Title Accountant – Treasury and Customer Control Computer Skills ERP Systems,SAP,Syspro Industry Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing City Johannesburg Province Gauteng Job Description Total control over processing of all bank transactions Processing of all bank payments and receipts on a daily basis in the Forward Cash Books for:ZAR main bank accountZAR daily call accountEUR CFC accountUSD CFC accountReconciling on a daily basis the Forward Cash Books to the respective bank statements.Completion of daily cash summary reportPreparation of weekly and monthly rolling cash forecasts Total control over processing of all accounts receivable transactions in ZAR, EUR and USD Matching daily debtors banking to invoices on ForwardFor customers that exceed their credit limits or payment terms liaising with Financial Manager on action to be taken.Reconciling accounts receivable accounts to statementsReconciling control accounts to sub-ledgers for ZAR, EUR and USDIssuing debtors statements to customers at month endFor Inter-Company trade debtors ensure that invoices and statements at month end are sent to the respective group company controller and that they confirm their agreement with the balance at month end two days before month end.Managing collection of amounts due from customers ensuring that they comply with agreed terms of saleLoading new customer applications on Head Office credit control system and follow up to ensure that all approvals are obtained before opening of new customer account on Forward.Monthly review of accounts receivable age analysis with Finance and Sales and formulation of action plan to bring overdue amounts in line with agreed credit terms.Invoices – process of plant (coolers), spares (company), inter and job cards. Include PODs with monthly statements and invoices.
