Assets InspectorCarry out condition and defect inspectionsIdentify, classify, record, validate and analyse asset inventory and condition data.Responsible for processing condition data and calculate overall condition scores regularlyResponsible for marking the assets for approved asset renewal programsResponsible for checking and validating Contractors collected asset condition dataComplete maintenance and renewal actions in Council’s Asset Management System after physical completionof worksWork collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders on Asset Inspection and system managementCreate and update assets in Council’s Asset ManagementMaintain and improve the data quality and consistency of Council’s Asset Management System.Assist in works program development and cost estimation.Conduct and report investigation upon reported defects, malfunctions and asset handover inspections.Use mobile devices such as tablet PC’s and GPS to undertake data collection.Assist in the preparation of Technical Specifications for Works Programs and any other Technical & FinancialReportAssist in updating asset unit rates. Ability to carry out site and field inspections including extensive walking in various terrains and locations
