Our Client based in Namibia has a great opportunity available, they are looking for a very target driven and strong Business Development Manager with extensive knowledge and experience within the IT Sector MISSION:The purpose of this position is to strategically drive Enterprise brand revenue success. The incumbent in this role must utilize their specialized Enterprise product and brand knowledge to grow the business KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Achieve required targets:Achieve monthly GP targetGrow Enterprise spendIdentify and develop relationshipsAcquire new business and find opportunities to grow spendProduce and manage product support and reportingManage the profitability of productsProvide reports and target tracking information as requiredUnderstand and implement strategy and policies in alignment with brandProvide full brand support (including but not limited to: PDF Spec Sheets, Web Info, Sales Support, Customer Support-Systems Integrators)Produce and review pricing informationProvide weekly sales forecast to managementAssist sales team with quotationsUnderstand Enterprise brands’ compensation programsProvide sales support to sales teamsTrack and share market knowledge on competitive brands Training:Stay constantly updated with all developments and trends in the marketKeep abreast of the latest technology and relevance to Cybersecurity, X86 Computing, Storage Trends and Backup Software TrendsDisseminate product information to sales employees and customersPosition vendor product set as part of product disseminationUnderstand technology roadmaps and life cyclesProvide constant training Logistics:Attend weekly sales meetings and assist in resolving stock issuesUnderstand the logistics processResponsible for the order managing process to maintain both service and stock levels Build and maintain internal and external relationships with all stakeholders:Develop and Implement Marketing StrategiesCollaborate with reseller partners to devise Enterprise brand growth strategies and implement these strategiesManage vendor relationships and align strategically with the vendorLiaise with suppliers for promotional funds and materialsMaintain relationships with customers to understand their requirements and incorporate them into the stock forecastingEngage with all relevant stakeholders EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Matric with mathematics is essentialA tertiary qualification focusing on either IT or on Sales and Marketing is essential (preferably a degree or diploma) PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Minimum 5 years of work experience within an IT environment, preferably an IT distribution environmentFive years’ experience working with Enterprise product sets (Cybersecurity, X86 Computing, Storage Trends, and Backup Software)Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a customer-focused environment, with proven delivery and exceptional customer serviceExperience building relationships both externally and internallyPrior experience working in a target-driven position (minimum of five years)Previous experience in internal trainingMinimum of 3 years’ experience collaborating with sales teamsProven administration skills COMPETENCIES, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:Must understand the IT market and the specific needs of the different market segmentsMust have an in-depth understanding of Cybersecurity, X86 Computing, storage trends, and Backup softwareMust display relevant technical product knowledge and acquire new product knowledge quicklyStrategic thinker with strong planning, negotiation, and execution skillsMust understand a product roadmapMust have a proven ability to work with spreadsheets including drawing up and utilizing reports.Must be able to draw up spreadsheets linking rate of exchange and costing calculationsGood at mathematical calculationsDisplay a thorough, working understanding of Forex conversions/calculationsProven experience collaborating successfully within a teamExcellent business communication skills – both written and verbalMust be able to manage conflictMust understand a sales cycle SOFT SKILLS AND PERSONALITY ATTRIBUTES:Understand customer satisfaction principles and practices as well as be service quality orientatedMust be technology driven and enjoy learning
