Established frail care home are looking for a dynamic and friendly individual to manage the clinical and administrative aspects of their facility.  This individual will be required to ensure that the facility delivers nursing care to the residents.  You would be required to work shifts.Job Objectives:Manage staff of 5 professional nurses and some care staffSupervise all staff and implement staff developmentWorking within a budget to ensure adequate supplies for the frail care centreResident care Managing chronic conditions including dressings, catheterisations, oxygen administration, nebulisation etcAdministration of medicationImplementing palliative care when appropriateEnsure clinic for independent residents opens regularly and runs smoothlyLiaison with familiesResponsible for report writing and ensuring administrative compliance for the Care CentreMinimum requirements:A qualification as a Registered NurseProof of registration with Nursing CouncilMinimum of 5 years experience in a similar roleUnendorsed drivers licence Technical knowledge and expertise relating to nursing procedures and interventionsAbility to implement and maintain nursing servicesAbility to work shifts – day, weekendsAbility to converse and write fluently in English
