We are seeking an Application Engineer to support the Product Development and Catalogue activities.Key Performance Areas: Perform Vehicle / Part Application exercises, to grow Vehicle / Part coverage.Assist in managing the Part Database.Manage Customer Catalogues.Assist in managing the Online & Catalogue Platforms.Perform ongoing market analysis – new vehicle models and competitor part coverage.Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers.Demonstrate a solid knowledge and understanding of related automotive products, including but not limited to; thermal, maintenance, rotating electrics and sensor parts.Assist with product training.Assist with the new Part Development & Approval process.Draft Technical Reports when required.Compile Engineering Change Notifications. Minimum Qualification / Experience / Knowledge: Mechanical Engineering degree and/or equivalent.Strong related Automotive Product knowledge, including but not limited to thermal, maintenance, rotating electrics and sensor parts.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel.Database development and administration experience (knowledge of API would be an advantage).Project Management. Personal Skills / Competence Required: Must be thorough, accurate and work methodically.Good communication skills (verbal and written).Good interpersonal skills & strong team player.Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative.
