Health & Safety OfficerSafety Officers are responsible for planning, implementing and overseeing company’s employee safety at work. We are looking for an experienced and responsible Safety Officer to join our team. As a Safety Officer, you will be responsible for facilitating compliance with occupational health and safety (OSH) guidelines. Your main goal will be to always ensure safe working environment and prevent any injuries and accidents.Plan and implement OHS policies and programsAdvise and lead employees on various safety-related topicsPrepare educational seminars and webinars on a regular basisReview existing policies and proceduresAdhere to all the rules and regulationsWork with HR to set up a new employee on-boarding process for safetyConduct risk assessmentEnforce preventative measuresIdentify process bottlenecks and offer timely solutionsCheck if all the employees are acting in adherence with rules and regulationsPrepare and present reports on accidents and violations and determine causesOversee workplace repair, installations and any other work that could harm employees’ safetyMinimum 5 years of experience as a Safety Officer or similar roleExcellent knowledge of legislations and proceduresExcellent knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices5 years of experience in producing reportsExperience with writing policies and procedures for health and safetyFamiliarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statisticsProficient in MS OfficeWorking knowledge of safety management information systemOutstanding organizational skillsCritical thinker and problem-solving skillsTeam playerGood time-management skillsGreat interpersonal and communication skillsBSc/BA in safety management or similar fieldCertificate in occupational health and safety
