An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for an experienced and suitable qualified Accounting to join the Financial Team, based in DurbanPurpose of the job:The Accountant will be responsible for monthly reporting to internal customers, participate in budget preparations, variance reporting, assists with quarterly audits and other adhoc duties.Experiential and Educational requirements:• 2-4 Years related Experience, Newly qualified CA or Finance Degree• MS Office: Intermediate• MatricEssential duties and responsibilities:• Liaise with Internal customers to ensure high service delivery and support at all times• Oversee the effective implementation of the Creditors management process within the organization • Review and check accuracy and reasonability of Stock reconciliations• Submit Weekly/Monthly variance reports as required• Maintain all GL Accounts for area of responsibility• Prepare monthly management reports• Assist with the quarterly & annual audits• Prepare the monthly VAT return• Prepare monthly management reporting
