JOB SUMMARY: A global engineering company in the mining and minerals industry are looking to employ the above to join their dynamic team in Gauteng, to execute all mechanical engineering and design work in accordance with agreed codes and practices that meet all requirements of the contract project. JOB DESCRIPTION: Minimum requirements for the role: A Mechanical Degree/Diploma is essential.At least 5 years’ experience in the Mechanical Engineering discipline.Experience with shafts (head frame construction, piping, conveyors, and winders).Experience in the EPCM sector/mining and minerals processing industries.A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is advantageous.A working knowledge of Microsoft , including Microsoft Projects, Teams and SharePoint.A working knowledge of document management systems is essential.Must have a valid passport and be prepared to travel.E-mail CVs to The successful candidate will be responsible for: Investigating and executing of projects.Conducting feasibility studies.Facility planning and replacements.Systems development and improvement of programs.Equipment design and improvements.Preparing enquiry documents and technical specifications.Commissioning of new equipment and facilities.Ensuring all work is carried out within agreed schedules, budgets and procedures.Managing of resources and people.Quality assuranceâ?¯and reviews.E-mail CVs to Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
