ENVIRONMENT: AN analytical and solutions-focused Engineering Platform Lead with at least 8 years of solid development experience is sought by a fast-paced Tech Company providing cutting-edge Data Security, to manage and mentor its Engineering team and lead them in the development of a privacy-preserving data collaboration platform into a global leader. You will help plan, build and support the platform and the supporting infrastructure. However, you will also lead projects and Engineering teams to ensure the right solution is implemented for the business requirement. The ideal candidate should preferably have a suitable tertiary qualification, have 8 years’ solid development experience in a team environment having lead teams for up to 2 years, have strong Azure Cloud and proficiency in .Net Core (C#), JavaScript, SQL, TDD, building enterprise solutions and developing cross-platform applications.DUTIES:Work with the UX Specialist and Product Manager to design solution for business requirements.Brief, manage and mentor the Engineering team through the development process.Develop technical specifications and new features.Develop and assist in integrations with 3rd parties.Code Reviews.Manage deployments.Manage cloud infrastructure.Support and troubleshoot client issues.Provide technical insight for integrating with clients.REQUIREMENTS: Tertiary Education preferred.8 Years of solid development experience in a team environment with 1 – 2 years of leading teams.Strong Azure Cloud experience and any other cloud environment.Experience with .NET Core (C#) and JavaScript.Experience in building enterprise solutions.Experience with SQL.Experience with TDD.Experience in developing cross-platform applications.Experience in start-ups and Agile workspace.Bonus –Python skills.Big Data experience.Analytics and ML experience.ATTRIBUTES:Be able to adapt to the fast-paced nature of the business and learn on the job.Solutions-focused.Accountable and responsible.Empowering.Goal-oriented.Attention to detail.Persistent.Problem-solving.Analytical mindset.
