Overview Business Development ConsultantA global investment management company based in Johannesburg is looking for a Business Development Consultant to join their team of professionals and demonstrate strong new business skills with great relationship management abilities.In this role, you will project the company’s ethos and take its asset management and technology to the wealth management and institutional markets.The successful individual will have excellent knowledge of the wealth and asset management environment and having an established network would be a great advantage.Key requirements: Execute the team distribution strategy in the identified areasHave an intimate understanding of the benefits of the company’s offering and pitch it at a senior levelStrong understanding of the challenges & opportunities in the distribution landscapeAbility of understanding opportunities and costs to drive profitIdentify prospects, develop leads, sell the benefits of the company’s proposition, and establish long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with clients.Present the propositions effectively to advisers, investors, and investment committees Experience: +- 3 – 5 years in a similar roleWorking knowledge of the wealth management industry Education & certificates: Postgraduate Degree in Finance – Investment related preferred
