Job DescriptionThis company is looking for an experienced Plumbing Superintendent to join their team. The position will be on a 12 –24 month contract, with the possibility of extension based off of performance and success. The salary/package is negotiable subject to experience and qualifications, paid directly to an overseas account in addition to a local living allowance. Four annual leaves and return flights to the expat’s home country will be provided, as well as area accommodation and access to a company car with a driver.Role Responsibilities To manage the construction of plumbing works at the site, ensuring accordance with the contract documents and specifications.Developing a professional team to work under limited supervision.Proactively manage the site teams through self-monitoring performance.Flexibility and experience to provide technical leadership on design elements.Attending regular meetings when required.Ensuring the requirements of Work Place Health and Safety are met. Behavioural Competencies Mature determined, resilient character with integrity, reliability and resourcefulness.Able to work with people at all levels from project manager to workmen.Good team management skills, good health, and engineering background. Education and Experience Minimum 7 years previous experience of managing plumbing installations in hotels, hospitals, malls and large retail areas.Familiar with HDPE, PPR, PEX, Polybutylene, PVC and Groove systems. (Training certificates are needed).
