You will examine and improve operating practices, and financial and risk management processes of the company.In addition to the above, you will be responsible for recording and maintaining a business’ financial transactions, such as purchases, expenses, sales revenue, invoices, and payments. You will record financial data into general ledgers, which are used to produce the balance sheet and income statement.RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure the Business is compliant with all Statutory RequirementsIdentify and assess areas of significant business risk.Implement best audit and business practices in line with applicable internal audit statements.Manage resources and audit assignments.Identify and reduce all business and financial risks through effective implementation and monitoring of controls.Develop, implement and maintain internal audit policies and procedures in accordance with local and international best practice.Compile and implement the annual Internal Audit plan.Conduct ad hoc investigations into identified or reported risks.Oversee risk-based audits covering operational and financial processes.Ensure complete, accurate and timely audit information is reported to ManagementMaintain an accurate record of financial transactionsUpdate and maintain the general ledgerReconciliation of entries into the accounting systemRecording of debits and creditsMaintain the trial balance, by a reconciliation of general ledgersAccount reconciliation to assert the accuracy of transactionsUse knowledge of local laws to comply with reporting requirementsMonitor any variances from the projected budget PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR:You will be responsible for the Group’s Payroll function, that is inclusive but not limited to PAYSPACE AND DEPUTY.RESPONSIBILITIES: Check employee working hours weekly which includes following up on high hours, absent days or leave and obtaining authorisation to ultimately avoid adjustments after the payroll is finalised.To calculate travel and shift allowance weekly.To process weekly payments which include Rewards, Incentives, Relocation Fees, Loans and late payments.To maintain a record of adjustments that accurately reflect payroll amendments required. This will need to be maintained daily.To ensure that ESS works correctly and is being utilised i.e., Leave and employees accessing Payslips.Filing: Ensure that all documents are up to date such as contracts, increase forms, relocation forms etc and are filed correctly within 1 week. XERO Uniforms: To manage uniform orders according to the SOP.Uniform / PPE Controls to be captured on Xero DEPUTY – Reports to be sent to the CEO and Finance Manager Daily checking of staff Late-coming and AbsenteeismWeekly Late-coming and Absenteeism TrendsDaily Labour Cost TrendsWeekly Labour Trend ReportsSales vs LabourTotal Shortages OTHER GAAPUIF/Statutory CompliancesFleet MaintenanceAssistance with Ad-Hoc tasks in both, Finance and HR
