The suitable candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Food Service Sales Teams – in Cape Town, Eastern Cape, and Namibia. The main purpose of the role is to plan, implement, manage, oversee, and review all sales activities in designated regions of the company, by managing subordinate Factory Shop Team, Telesales Team, and Sales Representatives in-house and independent contractors to carry out their sales activities in accordance with the company’s standards and requirements. The suitable candidate will also be responsible for ensuring that all sales activities of the company in the designated areas are managed effectively to achieve set sales targets for the division and support the achievement of the overall goals of the broader business. The roles, responsibilities and duties of this position will include but not be limited to: Managing all sales activities regionally to achieve set sales and profit targets monthly, quarterly, and annuallyBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with customers, key sales partners, and internal stakeholders in the region, to effectively meet your key performance areas.Developing and maintaining clear and effective lines of communication channels with customers, colleagues, staff, and management.Recruiting, selecting, training, and developing staff in the region to ensure optimum levels of customer service and sales effectivenessManaging processes to evaluate and monitor performance of sales staff at all levels in the region to ensure that staff are performing in accordance with company standardsTaking the necessary corrective action to ensure that employees adhere to the required standards of behavior and performance.Ensuring sales administration is conducted effectively and managing reporting processes to ensure visibility of business performance.Developing, suggesting, and implementing sales and promotion strategies in your region to achieve set sales targets.Managing the retail store (factory shop) on site in Cape Town
