JOB SUMMARY: Network Recruitment has more than 10 roles available for C# Software Engineers (who specialize in .Net programming, with 3 or more years of solid work experience), to join various clients based in Pretoria, Centurion, Johannesburg, Cape Town and internationally. JOB DESCRIPTION: Purpose of the Roles:The roles will involve writing specifications and designing, building, testing, implementing and sometimes supporting applications using specified programming languages and development tools. The successful Developers will often work as part of a team and they will work alongside other IT professionals, such as System and Business Analysts, to write programs according to their specifications. You may also be required to develop products for individual clients providing bespoke solutions.Duties and Responsibilities Include: Prepare specialized code as required by the product definition to enable application developmentContribute technical expertise to requirements analysis to enhance the quality of the solution designGather feedback to improve the quality and reduce operational risk of the developed applicationUndertake post-release activities to develop a base of knowledge to be incorporated in future build and release cycles Qualifications: Matric / Grade 12Computer Science or other relevant technical Degree, Diploma or Certification Experience Requirements: At least 4+ years solid work experience as a Full Stack Developer (work experience – not including tertiary projects)Experience of the full software development lifecycleExperience of architecture software solutions with demanding non-functional requirements such as performance, high availability, reliability, security, etc.Knowledge of a wide range of open source projects and componentsExcellent knowledge and understanding of object oriented design techniques and patterns (OOP)Knowledge of several standard software development methodologiesKnowledge of integration patterns and technologiesExperience working in an Agile environment Technical Skills Required: Front-End Tech Stack Required: HTML5JavaScript: AjaxMVC Frameworks (knockout, backbone, but Angular especially)jQuery CSS3Debug tools such as Firebug/Chrome Dev ToolsCross browser/platform developmentConsuming data formats such as JSON/XMLCSS (LESS/Sass)HTML5 API’sWebsite speed / performance optimization experience Back-End Tech Stack Required: C#Web API or MVC (3, 4, 5)NETWorking knowledge of RDBMS like MSSQL (2008)MongoDBRESTFul Web Services Additional Requirements: Visual StudioIntegration experience between front-/back-endExposure to version control with Git/Subversion/Bitbucket and branching strategiesAbility to write clean, maintainable code Apply now!
