Staff Solutions Recruitment are currently seeking candidates for their open Assistant Accountant & Apdp Controller position in null, null through Go Job Search. Duties:Assist with maintaining secure internal controls.Sign and review of creditors (i.e. reconciliations) Foreign/Local, Petty Cash, Debtors- Inter company, Foreign Imports (sea, air & road freight).Integration of Payroll (Wages / Salaries) into Finance system.Reconciliation of all Balance Sheet accounts (accruals/provisions/pre-payments).Responsible for the preparation and submission of royalty confirmation.Responsible for the preparation and submission of VAT return.Variance analysisPreparation of cash flows and cash management (weekly submission).Assist with month-end and year-end closing of Finance system.Assist with preparation of Annual Financial Statements (Income Statement and Balance Sheet).Submission of all statutory statistical returns (SARS & Statistics SA).Allocate budget and forecast to the respective cost center and ledger accounts.Assist with stock control, analysis & valuation of all plants.Assist with reporting monthly results on Group reporting system.Assist with various other tasks as and when required.Assist with timeous completion and upload of DA information into IRS system.Assist with handling queries from OEMs and other customers i.r.o DAs.Responsible for DA Certificates at all plants.Assist with timeous completion and submission of DA reports to the OEMs and other customers.Assist with preparation, coordination and over-seeing external audit of yearly DA certificate.Requirements:Degree in Accounting and / or Finance3 years related work experience in Finance DepartmentPosses a strong knowledge of system procedures relating to general ledger and payables processing and fixed asset systemsProficient with MS Excel, Word, and SAP
