ENVIRONMENT: A cutting-edge Cloud Solutions Specialist is seeking a Product Specialist, with knowledge and passion of the telecommunications industry both global and local, to join their team. You must have working knowledge of the following technologies: VoIP and IP Telephony technologies including CPaaS, UCaaS, CCaaS solutions, LAN / WANTCP/IP, and ICT Security.DUTIES:The incumbent supports the department’s objective to grow addressable market through developing, managing and supporting all aspects of Product Management. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Support the department in Product Management functions including:Launching new product initiatives includingPricing and margin readinessApproved Terms and ConditionsSales training and collateral (direct sales and resellers) Product lifecycleMaintaining complete and up to date master price lists inclusive of execution of margin objectivesBuilding and maintaining strong relationships internally and with suppliers and partners to support the effective and successful implementation and delivery of products and servicesPerforming market researchSupport all sales objectives (direct and reseller) through:Providing market and competitor insight and guidanceOn-going product training and collateralProviding input on non-standard bidsOwnership of allocated product portfolioDeveloping and maintaining a deep understanding of all products in particularly those in your portfolioCultivating strong relationships with all product partners to ensureEnjoys excellent service levelsActing as an escalation point to ensure that product related issues are resolved successfullyDeveloping, maintaining, and delivering all training collateral associated with product portfolioFollowing Products Standard Operating ProceduresKeeping meticulous, up to date records in area of responsibilityREQUIREMENTS: Relevant tertiary qualification essential2+ years of Product Management experience essentialPrevious experience in various aspects of developing and delivering Product Training essential2+ years’ experience in Telecommunication/IT/ Voice industry essentialWorking knowledge of the following technologies essential:VoIP and IP Telephony technologies including CPaaS, UCaaS, CCaaS solutionsLAN / WANTCP/IPICT SecurityOther beneficiaATTRIBUTES:Comprehensive understand of Product ManagementKnowledge and passion of the telecommunications industry both global and localExcellent communication skills both written, documentation and verbalExcellent presentation and training skillsSelf-management and hardworkingTeam playerExcellent coordination skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsAttention to detail
