ENVIRONMENT: MONITOR backups to ensure data recovery is taking place while also monitoring alerts and N-able administration process as the next Junior Security Administrator sought by a Shared Services Centre in Joburg specializing in the Health sector. The ideal candidate must possess a suitable Degree or Diploma with 2 years’ experience with backup and security software. You must also be able to communicate complex situations quickly and clearly while able to work under pressure and tight deadlines and respond swiftly to customer requests.DUTIES:Monitor Arcserve and end users in N-able.Escalation of concerns.Troubleshoot.Stakeholder engagement and support.Report malicious activity and risk logins.Monitoring and knowledge of ATP (Advanced Threat Protection).REQUIREMENTS: Qualifications –Relevant Degree or Diploma.Experience/Skills –Minimum of 2 years’ experience with backup and security software.Desirable –Experience and relevant training in, monitoring backups, data recovery and N-able.A solid knowledge of backup and security system support and troubleshooting procedures.Strong problem-solving skills.ATTRIBUTES:Verbal and written communication.Able to communicate complex situations quickly and clearly to people with a variety of technical skills.Ability to exercise discretion, work independently and as a part of a multi-disciplinary team.Can effectively listen to customers and respond to their requests.Able to work under pressure with tight deadlines in an ever-changing environment.
