Our client in the fast-food industry is recruiting for a Restaurant Manager in the Westville, Umhlanga Durban North area’s. Implementation, control & application of all company policies & procedures as per staff handbookEnsuring the shop runs efficientlyEnsure customers are happyEnsure shop assistants are motivated & happyEnsure the vibe of the shop is maintainedComplete daily opening & closing procedures checklistMaintaining & controlling staff duty rosters including all labour issues (sick notes, late for work, leave etc)STOCK CONTROLComplete daily stock countsEnsuring correct product quality & quantity on receipt from supplierGrv stock into gaapOrdering stock based on weekly budgetsRecoup from staff all losses of stock through wastage, theft & negligence following the correct proceduresHEALTH, SAFETY & CLEANINGMaintaining Health & Safety StandardsCarry Out All Duties Consistent With Kitchen Hygiene Before, During & After Service (Including Am /Pm Shifts)Advising Staff On Personal Hygiene Standards & Ensure Standards Are MetPromoting Sanitation In The Kitchen AreaBe Efficient In Terms Of Organizing The Stock ShelvesResponsible For Labeling, Covering & Storing Foods Inside The Kitchen To Prevent It From Poison Or ContaminationCheck & Sign Off On The Daily Cleaning Register For Grease Trap, Extractor & ToiletsEnsure That Oil Is Filtered DailyEnsure That The Shop Is Clean & Tidy At All TimesFOOD CONTROLOverseeing & controlling of preparation & presentation of foodMaintaining proper food production practices, time, quality & quantitiesBe ready & able to take over the station of any team member who is absentDaily kitchen prep checks, am & pmQUALITY STANDARDSReporting about the everyday business of the shop to the Ops Manager or M.D & bringing to notice any problem(s) that arise.REPAIRS & MAINTENANCEEnsure that all company’s assets are well looked afterMonitor condition of all equipment & oversee the repair with the relevant contractor if necessary (refer to the list of contractors on the pos)Reporting any damaged equipment to operations managerCUSTOMER RELATIONSBuilding & maintaining relationships with customersGeneral table visits throughout serviceEnsuring all complaints made by the customers are seen to & rectified immediatelyFINANCIAL & CASHIERAdhering to, controlling & implementing all budgets & targets set for the shopEnsuring all cash is accounted forComplete the daily cash up sheetManning the till/pos, & delegating this role to other staff members where necessaryCashing up & balancing the till & notifying the operations manager of any discrepanciesEnsuring all grv’s are correctly inputted into the systemIf you meet all of the above, please send your CV to hr@pronel.co.za Please note due to high volume responses, only candidates that meet the advertised criteria will be contacted.
