A Payments Solutions Company based in Sandton is looking for a Tester to do support and maintenance of SQL databases, automation of maintenance procedures and backup and restoration of databases.Requirements: 3-5 Years experience as a Tester in a similar environment.Grade 12 Certificate and Diploma or Degree.Experience with SQL Databases. Key Responsibilities: Design and executive test plans on software applications.Record and document results and compare to expected results.Detect software failures so that defects may be discovered and corrected.Generate historical analysis of test results.Document anomalies and issues.Maintain database of software defects.Operate and maintain test networks.Provide application instructions for users.Develop and document application test plans based on software requirements and technical specifications.Participate in application planning meetings.Ensure data integrity standards.Perform reviews, walkthroughs, or inspections.
