JOB SUMMARY: – JOB DESCRIPTION: This role entails processing multiple payrolls (monthly and weekly) and ensuring that the payroll and systems are maintained and updated accordingly.Job objectives: Processing wages and salary payroll accurately within specified deadlinesEnsuring accuracy of information imported into the VIP Payroll systemManagement of leaveResponsible for the take-on of new employees onto the Payroll SystemsResponsible for the termination of employees on the payroll and HRIS systems as well as ensuring termination pay-outs are authorised and correctManage salary and wage annual reviewsImplement Provident / Pension Fund / Level Annual increasesReview and reconcile the weekly and monthly payrolls to ensure that employer and employee contributions are balancedResponsible for Statutory and Mandatory filing and reporting, including EMP 201, SARS submissions, UIF submissions, MIBFA / MIBCO submissions and Sanlam Provident Fund contributionsResponsible for statutory deductions such as PAYE, UIF, MIBFA and MIBCOEvaluate the headcount versus payroll ration to ensure that no discrepancies existEnsure all payslip deductions reconcile to the GL ExportReport writing on Sage BIMBalance of the MIBCO schedules to the payroll HRIS Systems administrationMaintain and update payroll dashboardsCreate ad-hoc reports for managementEvaluate Payroll training needs and present viable training solutions to Technical Skills and knowledge: Working knowledge and experience with Sage VIP and Premier HR / ESSExperience working with Time and Attendance SystemsProficient in Office 365Understanding and application of relevant Labour Legislation and Bargaining CouncilsIn-depth understanding of payroll processing, deductions and regulatory submissions
