A reputable company based in Durban is looking for a VIBRANT Field Sales RepIdentify business opportunities by hunting new business and establishing sales prospectsQuickly develop high value, trusted relationships with customersBe the first point of contact/the face of the Company to several customersProactively arrange and attend appointments with customers to promote the Company’s portfolio of products and capabilities by growing, maintaining and leveraging your networkPrepare and manage a sales budget, and forecast, track and report on KPI targetsBe accountable for delivering results, achieving and exceeding agreed targets, utilising the Opportunity Pipeline Tracker (OPT) and always look to improve own performanceConfidently deliver high impact sales presentations and actively participate during monthly Sales Meetings reviewing sales performance and feeding back all suggestions for improvement and market research to the Sales ManagerKeep ahead of the competition by constantly monitoring industry and competitor trends anddevelopmentsEffectively facilitate the seamless transition of new customers from Field Sales to Account Management.Safety and health responsibilitiesMinimum of Maths, English & Science qualificationsValid driver’s license for South AfricaDegree or equivalent, preferably in an engineering or technical -related qualificationTime served Mechanical/Maintenance ApprenticeFormal recognised sales qualification (or working towards), e.g. ISMMA minimum of 3 years’ experience in the External Sales Environment.Experience of working in a sales orientated role with a good understanding and use of sales strategies and methodologyDeveloping sales plans and working with others to deliver both sales and profit targetsSelling in multi-product / complex solution environments
