Civil Design EngineerAn industry-leading company is currently looking for a highly skilled and ambitious Civil Design Engineer to join their team of professionals.Key Responsibilities:Knowledge of cost estimating of design development optionsPreparation of reports and presentationsDesign & documentation of municipal servicesDevelop cost-effective design layoutsAnalyze design issues and recommend corrective actionsPerform civil design analysis and calculationsDetermine construction cost and material estimates based on civil designsPerform field surveys and investigations to prepare engineering drawingsReview project plan and determine the design feasibilities and constraintsUse latest software and technologies to develop effective designsMaintain accurate design files for reference purposesManage design projects within allotted timelines and budgetsPerform design changes and improvements according to changing project demandsEnsure compliance with ISO quality requirements.Key Requirements:BSc Engineering/BTechECSA Professional Registration (advantageous)5+ years’ experience with Municipal Infrastructure Design experienceExperience in both greenfield and brownfield projectsExperience with GCC, SABS & COLTOExperience of Quality assurance when conducting site inspectionsKnowledge and experience in working with AutoCAD, Civil Designer Software and / or Civil3D
