Reporting to the Technical Manager, the successful candidates will be based in Cape Town and will be responsible for the following:KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDesktop repairs Hardware troubleshooting & repairs to desktop systemsComponent testing repair/replacementNotebook/Mobile/Tablet phone repairsPeripheral testing for vendor escalation i.e., printers / digital cameras / CCTVSoftware recovery & repair all OS sAbility to troubleshoot communications devices i.e., network LAN s / WAN sMaintaining job card updates & customer feedback on repairsTelephonic supportOn-site supportREQUIREMENTS – Matric with mathematics is essential – A+ with 3 years of technical experience – Be able to work in a well-organized environment. – Be able to complete jobs quickly & efficiently. – Excellent communication skills are required. – Be willing to go the extra mile & complete tasks quickly. – Excellent technical skills are required. – Be able to diffuse delicate situations in a professional manner – MS Office Suite – Sound understanding of networking – Solid Windows operating system (OS) knowledge. – Solid knowledge of Windows processing hardware- Great with time management – Great attitude – energetic, enthusiastic, and quick learner – Well organized, efficient, and meticulous about the quality of work – Quick to learn new software tools and processes
