Job Description A leading renewable energy developer with an enviable reputation in the solar and wind space is looking for a Senior Wind Engineer to join their growing organization in Cape Town.We are looking for a driven individual with a proven track record with the required engineering and analytical background.Minimum Requirements:•BSc Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical)•5 – 10 years’ experience in the development of wind projects within the REIPP Programme.•WASP coursesKey responsibilities will include:•Identifying and developing new wind projects•Interfacing with teams to secure the land, interface with contractors to erect met masts.•Lead a team of 2-3 engineers in the meso-scale modelling of wind projects•Responsible for complete project development lifecycle (site identification, wind measuring campaign, environmental and permitting)•Wind data analysis, verification and micro-scale modelling of wind turbines•Interface with wind turbine OEMs and site optimisations
