The successful candidate will be responsible for all technical issues related to the turbine and the wind farm and providing commercial support to the Lead Sales Manager to close business agreements, build customer relationships and guarantee the technical and commercial validity of the offers.Some functions include: •Develop and optimize technical and commercial solutions (e.g. optimal turbine selection for •project, prepare and change request, e.g. sector management, SCADA). •Identify and compile technical market requirements/ trends.•Prepare technical and commercial offers/tender replies and deviation lists. •Upon deal finalization, prepare technical Hand Over to Project Managers. •Coordinate weekly sales reporting of his geographical area. •Arrange confidentiality agreements and exchange information with external consultants / •suppliers (e.g. PSSE model, foundation loads, and transportation /access road •requirements). •Perform cost calculations and run cost of energy modeling.Type of Contract: Permanent Location: Cape Town, Western CapeQualification: Relevant Engineering DegreeProfile: Communication strength, result orientation & COE focus, innovation & creativity, colleagueship & teamwork, utilizing diversity, promote and manage change, specialist knowledge, HSE.Languages: English, Spanish Experience: 10 + years
