Job Description A leading medium-sized Environmental Consulting Firm is looking to sub contract an Ecologist.Minimum Requirements:•BSc post-graduate degree (MSc preferred)•Subjects in Soil, Ecology and Botany would be advantageous•5 years’ experience in Ecology, with specific experience in:oEnvironmental ManagementoProject Management (Financial Management)oDetailed understanding and application of applicable environmental legislationoResearch methodologiesoKnowledge of soils and vegetationoKnowledge of wetlands.Key Skills•Strong report-writing skills•Project management skills•Staff management Skills•Communication skills•A keen analytical mind•Good field and surveying skills•Up-to-date knowledge of environmental legislation•Good understanding of statistics, with the ability to present, analyse and record them•Ability to use GIS and other niche software for recording, analysing and presenting data and reports
