Job Description A large international IPP is looking for a Senior Project Developer with experience on Wind and Solar PV projects to join their team in Cape Town.Requirements:•Master’s degree in engineering or environmental.•Minimum of 5 years’ experience in energy development•Experience in running technical feasibility studies•Experience in wind and solar resource assessments•Experience and understanding of technical grid connection requirements•Experience with Wasp/WindPro/WindFarm/Open Winds or similarYour key responsibilities will include:•Driving business development, site and project acquisition•Conducting technical due diligence of renewable energy projects•Driving the entire development process from pre-feasibility to feasibility and procurement stages•Obtain all development permits and authorisations in order to reach compliance to bid projects into government-backed and private procurement programmes and taking it to financial close.
