Job Description A leading Engineering and Environmental consultancy firm is looking for a Roads and Highways Engineer for their Hilton office in KwaZulu-Natal. The successful incumbent will be responsible for the design of predominantly roads related work. Responsibilities: •Management of projects.•Leading projects in terms of overall project management.•Geometric Design using Civil Designer/Civil 3D.•Management on a subtask technical level.•Guiding and mentoring of junior staff.•Finding innovative technical solution to challenges set by our clients in the roads field.•Carrying out fieldwork and site inspections / supervision.•Sound knowledge of contract documentation and contract administration.•Traveling within Africa may be required.Qualifications: •BSc/BEng Civil Engineering •Masters Degree in Civil Engineering (strong advantage)•Must be Professionally Registered with ECSAExperience: •8+ years relevant experience in a consulting engineering environment•AutoCAD, Civil Designer/Civil 3D•Working knowledge of GCC 2015 and FIDIC procurement procedures •Interest in Roads and Highways Engineering as a Geometric and Drainage specialistLocation: Hilton, KwaZulu-NatalSalary: R800 000 – R600 000When applying, please use reference number: RE20221125JASM
