Job Description If you are starting your journey in the booming Renewable Energy field, I highly recommend taking a look at an urgent position we have!The ideal candidate would be fresh out of engineering school and looking to learn and apply their knowledge at a fast pace.Responsibilities would be as follows:Render drafts/drawings for Solar PV plant installations, both preliminary and final.General, Mechanical, Civil & Electrical aspects.General Arrangement, Site Development plans, Single Line diagrams, String Diagrams etc.Compile Cable Schedules & Cable Derating Schedules according to required standardsAssist in gathering information for the final as-built drawings.Assist the Design Engineers by problem-solving complex aspects of Solar PV plants throughout installations, while adhering to a strict budget.Attend site inspections both before and after installations.Design preliminary systems for Tender submissionsAnalyse RFP/Tender documentation with the Engineering Team.Liaise with suppliers & subcontractors for technical solutions by conveying design information across.Work with the engineering & project management teams on expertise solutions.This is a great opportunity for a young sharp individual to gain massive exposure in the Solar PV renewable energy field at the highest level.Salary: R25 000 – R20 000Please note that the above requirements are all a MUST.
