Job Description A progressive, multidisciplinary engineering and infrastructure solutions company is urgently looking for a Senior Engineer/Technologist to join their Roads and Highways Division. This position is responsible for providing professional services on projects within the Roads and Highways Functional group, including design management and design delivery for transportation infrastructure projects and managing professional teams of medium/large projects. Bachelor of Engineering or B.Tech degree from an accredited University/University of Technology.Professional registration with ECSA a MUST. Minimum 8 – 10 years of professional experience in transportation infrastructure with a strong background in geometric or transportation design.Working knowledge of Bentley Microstation, Open Roads Design Software as well as Civil3D.Interest and/or experience with BIM systems would be advantageousKnowledge of the commercial aspects of project management.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to effectively write technical reports.Courteous and business orientated manners when communicating with stakeholders to foster and promote good working relations.Co-operative and flexible work style to work in a team environment.Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.Ability to make technical decisions that are outcome-driven.Ability to maintain a consistent and manageable workload.Knowledge of QA and OHS requirements.Experience in Government standards, codes, and documentation.Experience in design management and design delivery for projects and managing professional teams of medium/large projects, would be beneficial ·BONUS: Project Management Experience Location: Cape Town, Western CapeSalary: R700 000 – R520 000
