Job Description A reputable national firm of Architects and Engineers is looking for a Project Architect to take the lead on projects, based in their Cape Town officeWhat we’re looking for:•Must have recognized qualifications•Must be SACAP registered as a Professional Architect•5 – 7 years’ experience•Proficiency in Revit is a must.•Photoshop/SketchUp skills would be advantageous.Responsibilities to include: •Lead and develop projects from early concept through design development•Preparation of full submission dwgs and compilation of submission forms.•Oversight of tender/construction drawings and detailing.•Attend and document tender briefings.•Assistance with formulation of presentation material.•Accuracy and construction detailing knowledge essential.Candidate should have the following skills •Ability to work independently, under pressure and meet strict deadlines.•Knowledge of local authority approvals processes essential.•Sound technical knowledge required.•Full understanding of Work stages and what each stage entails.
