Job Description A Renewable Energy company specialising in renewable project developments is looking to appoint a Solar Engineer ASAP!Key Requirements: BEng/BSc/BTech Electrical/Mechanical or Mechatronic EngineeringRelevant work experience of 3 -5 years.Ability to work independentlyKnowledge of the South African REIPPP program.Knowledge of procurement processesKey Responsibilities: Undertake technical aspects of project developmentCo-ordinate site studies and local engineering aspects of project developmentDevelop grid connection solutions for projectsEstablish provisional costings for engineering aspects of projectsPrepare technical documentation for tender submissionsSolar yield analysisGrid connectionPlant design & engineeringEPC costingProject schedulesDevelop local procurement processesDevelop supplier database and establish supplier relationshipsDevelop standard enquiry/tender documentationConfirm detailed Scope of Work / Bill of Quantities to be put out on enquiryCo-ordinate actual enquiry eventsLocation: Cape Town, Western CapeSalary: R50 000 – R25 000 pm (depending on experience)
