Job Description We are currently recruiting for an up and coming Biotechnology Company in Cape Town who are looking for a focused, passionate and plant mad individual to join their ever growing team! The company focuses on using plants for manufacturing recombinant proteins for potential vaccine and therapeutic applications.Our client is in need of a Laboratory Manager to take charge of their state of the art Laboratory in Cape Town. Your mission will be to ensure that the lab has the right resources and equipment, monitor and report on the status of the lab, and move between R&D and Production.The following requirements are a prerequisite to be considered for the position:•M.Sc in Biotechnology preferable/ M.Sc in Chemistry or Microbiology •3 – 5 years’ experience as a Laboratory Manager •Experience with LIMS•Experience with ISO 9001 & 13485 •Supply chain management experience advantageous
