A multinational company, functioning in a broad range of areas, helping clients to build strong, successful businesses, is looking for a Marine Surveyor to join their team. The incumbent can be based anywhere in South Africa and will be responsible for surveying and assessing ships and other marine structures during construction and in service, for compliance with the applicable Class, statutory and other possible applicable requirements.Requirements: •Formal qualification in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering.•Minimum 2 years of experience in the engineering or inspection/survey fields with an IACS member Classification Society.•Knowledge of ships’ engineering systems and machinery.•Knowledge of computer programs or software packages related to job responsibilities.•Willing to travel frequently Should this position pique your interest, and you meet the requirements for, please email your updated CV to engineering.jobs@staffingprojects.co.za.
