My Client is looking for a Senior Food and Beverage Manager to be responsible for managing our main Up Market Restaurant’s menu offering and for delivering an excellent guest experience. RequirementsChef Degree/DiplomaProven food and beverage management experienceFluent in Afrikaans and EnglishWorking knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS Micros/Sage/PO systems)Ability to spot and resolve problems efficientlyFlexibility with regard to working hoursMastery in delegating multiple tasksCommunication and leadership skillsUp to date with food and beverage trends and best practicesAbility to think out of the box and create a unique experience for guestsAbility to manage staff and meet financial targetsGuest-orientated and service-minded ResponsibilitiesManage all Main Restaurant F&B and day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standardsManage Main Restaurant pop-up shop, Spice Garden, Healing Garden and various workshopsPreserve excellent levels of internal and external customer serviceDesign and create menus, purchase goods and continuously make necessary improvements in line with farm and garden harvesting schedules and Farm’s look and feelIdentify customer needs and respond proactively to all concernsLead F&B team by attracting, recruiting, training and appraising talented staffEstablish targets, KPIs, schedules, policies and procedures
