Job Description We have an exciting client in Cape Town looking for a Senior Data Scientist.You will:Build segmentation and propensity modelsBuild real time systems that integrate with the rest of our stackBuild visualisations using R Shiny, DataStudio, Tableau or similarBrainstorm new ideas and conceptsWork with teammates on design, and code reviewsBuild state-of-the-art statistical modelsMinimum requirements:At least 3 years of data science experienceLanguages: R/RStudio, MySQLStrong mathematical or statistical knowledgeStrong data wrangling experienceAdditional requirements:Have an understanding of Hadoop, Hive and/or MapReduceExperience with distributed computing is advantageous: SparkExperience with Cloud services is advantageous: AWS, GoogleExperience in working in an Agile/Scrum development environment
