Job Description Our client is looking for a talented Magento 1/2 developer that will be in charge of maintaining their eCommerce website. Your main tasks will be to ensure that the last security patches are installed and that existing functionality continues to work properly. You will also be in charge of developing new modules and applying any required front-end changes.Responsibilities•Regularly update our Magento installation•Install security patches•Develop new functionality•Implement front-end changes•You will be part of a team that builds large and medium size ecommerce solutions for our customers. All solutions are based on Magento•You will Plan, Develop, Test and Document design implementations as a part of a team•Regularly help with internal projects developing general modules that can be used by a wide range of clients and projects•Regularly attend internal training courses to maintain required skill setSkills•Object-oriented programming knowledge•Basic knowledge of PHP•JavaScript is a must for front-end development•Angular, Vue, Knockout•Extensive LESS & CSS knowledge•2+ years of experience working with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.•Experience with CSS preprocessors (SASS, LESS, etc.)•Knowledge of client-side application design patterns and JavaScript best coding practices•Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Mercurial/Git•At least strong Intermediate English both verbal and written (enough for communication)•Ability to estimate/forecast time to complete specified project tasks
