Job Number 68604 Job Type Permanent Job Title Millwright Computer Skills MS Office Industry Pharmaceutical City Ekurhuleni (East Rand) Province Gauteng Job Description Position is with the Maintenance department, the incumbent will report directly to the Section Head: Maintenance.Purpose:Maintenance, including problem solving. Ensuring minimum downtime in production area’s and specifically packing lines, resulting in overtime to be worked. Ensure Monthly and daily efficiency targets are met.Key Responsibilities:Check and inspect machinery, place orders with buyer for parts and report issues to Maintenance Manager /Section head Ensure that the packing line equipment and machinery is maintained fit for purposeGenerate and execute Job cards daily for planned preventative maintenance and breakdownsReview job cards or operations from the previous day to identify problems and corrective actions requiredCarry out breakdown repair work on electrical and mechanical equipment within reasonable timeComplete Root Cause & Failure Analysis on prolonged and repeated Breakdowns. Ensure that recommendations for improvements to the planning office are made regularly Carry out repairs and maintenance as per job card specification. Analyze and communicate technical information to internal / external customers /Section head Complete documents and reports in an accurate and disciplined manner and within time restraints Propose and action improvements to proceduresExecute planned maintenance on plant and equipment
