Northern Suburbs) Province Gauteng Job Description Position Summary The Creditors Clerk will be responsible for receiving, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices related to accounts payables.They also track purchase orders and process payments that come from suppliers or customers.Responsible for processing bank reconciliation and Petty Cash control. Main Duties and Responsibilities Obtain accurate information and documentation from suppliersEnter and upload invoices into systemCharge expenses to accounts and cost centres by analysing invoicesReconciling supplier account to supplier age analysis and supplier statementsPreparation of remittancesSet invoices up for paymentMonitor accounts to ensure payments are up to dateResearch and resolve invoice discrepancies and issuesDaily, Weekly, Monthly Bank reconciliationDisburse petty cash by recording entries and verifying documentationBEE compliance schedule maintenanceSARS compliance – making sure that the accurate documents are received, vat processed accuratelyMonitoring cash flow – planning of supplier paymentsMaintain vendor filesAssist with month end closingAnnual audit preparationComplete credit applications and forward to head office to review terms and conditions.Ensure that all documents in filling room are in order and easily accessible for audit purposesRequest credit from suppliersFollow up with suppliers for outstanding invoicesNedbank CIT – assist with collecting of cashTransport ReconciliationPetrol Reconciliation
