Overview Buyer (Packaging)An industry-leading company situated in East London is urgently seeking the expertise of an experienced Buyer (Packaging) to join their team.The responsibilities of the position include: Place stock orders with supplierCheck branch stock levels and order accordinglyFollow up on MTO (Made to order) stock lines.Organise emergency stock from suppliers and other branchesLiaise with operations with regards to collectionsLiaise with sales with regards to urgent stock items neededSource quotation from suppliersHandle inter-branch transfers of stockProcessing of all stock adjustments for branchStocktake Key requirements: Grade 12/NQF 4 qualification. Preferable with Mathematics and Accounting as subjects.Tertiary Qualification in Supply Chain Management would be advantageousComputer Literate – MS Office and Windows (Intermediate/Advance Proficiency in Excel)Syspro experiencePackaging KnowledgeA high level of numeracy and literacyWork according to strict deadlines continuously
