Overview DC ManagerA leading retail company situated in Johannesburg is urgently seeking the expertise of an experienced DC Manager to join their team.The successful incumbent for this position will be responsible for: Overall management and coordination of all DC activities, including but not limited to Returns Processing, Inventory Management, Return to Merchant, SHE, Risk & Quality of operationManage and improve returns to within agreed service levels.Ensuring that all products are accurately received, evaluated, stored and dispatched appropriately within KPI parametersEnsure stock accuracy through disciplined stock control and implement stock accuracy improvement initiatives.Management of stock count program/schedule, reconciliation and reporting thereof.Ensure adequate control measures are implemented to make sure that mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies are highlighted, addressed and resolved timeously by the teams. Key requirements: Degree or diploma in Supply chain; engineering; Logistics; management5-7 years managerial experiencePrevious experience and exposure in a highly complexed and detailed environmentExperience and exposure in warehousing environmentStock management experience (inventory)
