This involves creating and maintaining sales and income forecasts and related buy plans to ensure the appropriate quality and quantity of inventory is purchased to support category strategy and achieve business objectives.Role ResponsibilitiesDeveloping Merchandising Business Plans.Completing and maintaining Merchandise business plans (which include Vendor Business Plans).Maintaining communication and link plans and activities back to the Category Manager and Commercial Manager.Conduct forecasting activities which impact the allocation of products.Plan for changes in demand which impacts upon which products to the stock based on market conditions and trends.Managing and maintaining category forecasts by incorporating historical knowledge about the business into the forecasting process.Understand the business operation specifically how manual orders are quantified and how replenishment levers are aligned.Collaborate with vendors to ensure pack size optimisationBehavioural CompetenciesExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Professional individual with integrityAble to work independently and in a teamExcellent analytical skills, natural problem-solverEducation and ExperienceRelevant degree3-5 years’ experience in retail with relevant experience in merchandiseSAP experienceDrivers licenseAlternatively, you are also welcome to contact at or connect with her on Please note that correspondence will only be conducted with shortlisted candidates for this position.Please consider your application unsuccessful if you do not hear from us within 3 days.
