JOB SUMMARY: JOB ALERT!!Our client within the FMCG sector based in Gqeberha, seeks to employ an Electrician to join their Maintenance team.The successful candidate will be responsible for all Electrical maintenance. JOB DESCRIPTION: Duties: Preventative action plans to minimise breakages.Regular inspections on equipment to identify hazards, defects or need for repair.Attend to scheduled maintenance and shutdown.Assist with cost estimates and drawings/preliminary sketches.Install/connect power cables to equipment such as motors.Supervising apprentices.Knowledge of relevant policies and procedures.Ensuring compliance to electrical standards.Mechanical knowledge of machines, tools in factory environment.TroubleshootingUnderstanding of the OSH Act.Attend to breakdowns. Requirements: Grade 12N3 min. Electrical Eng. or EquivalentElectrical Trade Test Certificate 5 year min. Factory maintenance/breakdowns experiencePLC (Programmable Logic Controller) experience will be advantageous Wireman license advantageousValid Driver’s LicenseOwn transport
