This position reports into the Operations Manager.Minimum Requirements:Matric with a suitable qualification i.e Operations/Production Management.A minimum of 5-10 years’ working experience in production management.Production and deboning knowledge of meat essential.Must have meat processing industry experience as well as knowledge of manufacturing processes and HACCP standards.Experience using an ERP system i.e., Meat matrix would be advantageous.Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a large team within a unionized environment.High level of efficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel and in report writing.Excellent written communication skills with the ability to engage at all levels.Ability to converse in IsiZulu with be an advantage.Hands on individual who is initiative-taking and willing to go the extra mile.Excellent organizational and planning skills with good attention to detail.Ability to multi-task and work in a highly pressurized environment.Able to work on weekends when required. Please apply directly online if you meet the requirements.
