Overview An industry-leading company situated in Gauteng is urgently seeking the expertise of an experienced Procurement Analyst to join their team.The successful incumbent for this position will be responsible for Managing Company Vendor Master, including updating vendor informationManage preferred vendor listReporting on all procurement metrics, measuring progress towards achieving deliverablesGather and analyse data to support procurement decision makingTracking procurement savings initiatives and collaborating with buyers to achieve savingsTracking of procurement purchasing expectationsAssist in DMR reporting and achievement of BBBEE/Mining Charter preferential targetsAct as a liaison between accounts payable and procurement for queries relating to vendor accountsAssist in developing procurement policies and proceduresSupplier performance management including supplier performance reviewsLiaison with stakeholders to ensure procurement deliverables are met Key requirements: Commercial or Technical qualification (a qualification in supply chain/procurement advantageous)Minimum 5 years experience in procurement/supply chain in a mining environmentAppropriate IT systems experience (Oracle, JDE, IBM Cognos TM1) and advanced ExcelWorking experience and knowledge of service level agreements and contractsWorking knowledge of BBBEE and Mining Charter
