QUALIFICATIONS:• Matric.• Post matric studies in Supply chain.• Valid driver’s licence.• Computer literate – MS Office and Cargowise.SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:• Minimum of 5 to 10 years working experience in import & export, air & sea, clearing & forwarding controller duties.• Good knowledge on export shipment requirements.• Supply chain solutions.ADVANTAGEOUS ATTRIBUTES:• Strong ambassador to represent our culture of integrity and business ethics.• Neat and well organized.• Works well and remains calm under pressure.• Pleasant mature disposition.• Good Communication Skills.• Good all-round understanding of imports & exports, air & sea.• Good solution building skills.• Flexible working hours.• Team player that builds professional relationships with all key stakeholders.• Effective negotiation skills.• Strong commercial mind-set in terms of profitability.• Self-motivated.• Senior operator that can work without supervision. OVERALL RESPONSIBLITIES INCLUDE:• Manage and provide regular update on the status of clients purchase orders.• Manage exceptional crisis shipments in effective and professional manner.• Liaise with overseas suppliers and our global partners.• Processing of all shipments on Cargowise.• Ensuring all relevant documentation is timeously and accurately received.• Checking documents and invoices for accuracy.• Liaise with all third-party service providers with regards to execution and paperwork.• Filing and E-docs in line with ISO requirements.• Rate negotiations.• Building solutions on new routes and suppliers.• Work together as a team.• Build relationships with the client at a strategic level to ensure we are adding value.• Engage with the client on future opportunities, projects or business needs.• Work closely with the team to drive continuous improvement
